1 quart fresh strawberries, hulled
3/4 C. lemon juice
2 C. club soda, chilled
3 C. cold water
3/4 to 1 C. sugar, or sugar substitute
ice
strawberries, for garnish (optional)
mint leaves, for garnish (optional) |

In blender container, puree strawberries. In pitcher, combine pureed strawberries, water, lemon juice, and sugar; stir until sugar; stir until sugar dissolves. Add club soda. Serve over ice. Garnish with strawberries and mint leaves, as desired. |
